Who Should Refer
Providers often refer when a child or adult is experiencing:
Speech clarity concerns or reduced intelligibility
Delayed expressive or receptive language
Social communication or pragmatic difficulties
Fluency concerns (e.g., stuttering)
Difficulty participating fully at home, school, or work

How to Refer

Provide any basic information and any relevant detail.
2. I Contact the Caregiver or Patient Directly
After receiving the referral, I reach out to the family within 1-2 business days to share appointment availability and next steps.
3. Collaborative Follow-Up
With caregiver/patient permission, I’m happy to share updates or coordinate care with referring providers.
